CarPlayerThese Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of CarPlayer (“we”, “us”) for the CarPlayer app (“the App”). By using the App you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.
1. Intended use and safety
The App is for passengers and for use while the vehicle is parked. The driver must never watch video, browse or operate the App while driving. You must obey all traffic laws wherever you use the App. Video and the browser on the car screen are available only after you confirm that the vehicle is parked, and you must confirm this truthfully. You must not try to bypass any safety restriction of the App, your iPhone or your vehicle. You alone are responsible for how and when you use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
3. Your content
The App does not provide, sell or include any channels, videos or other content. You may only add playlists, servers, links and files that you are legally entitled to access. You must not use the App to infringe copyright or to bypass content protection. The App does not circumvent digital rights management; protected video may appear black.
4. Third-party services and trademarks
Websites, apps and media servers you open or connect to are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. CarPlayer is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc. or any service shown in the App. Apple, iPhone and CarPlay are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other names and icons belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them.
5. CarPlayer Premium
The App can be used free of charge with a daily limit. CarPlayer Premium is a one-time in-app purchase that removes the limit on your Apple Account for as long as the App is offered. Payment and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Prices, the free limit and features may change as the App evolves and as Apple, car makers or third-party services change their systems.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will work in every vehicle, with every service, without interruption or without errors.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any accident, injury, death, damage to property, traffic fine, legal penalty, data loss or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the App, including use while driving or in breach of these Terms or of any law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Use of the App while a vehicle is moving is entirely at your own risk.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
9. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance or support, or any claims relating to it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. We may stop offering the App or any feature. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
11. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
